ORCHARD….the Resort
Just 2minutes walk from the station, “The Orchard”
located in the village of Gholwad lies
a paradise on earth where one can enjoy the cool atmosphere of the fruit
garden. Gholvad is 13 kms from Dahanu.
Guest rooms in the main building face the awesome sight of the well
maintained landscape with various flowers of different hues and colours
and on the other side the cool serenity of the chickoo orchard. For the
rich and the famous there are exquisitely furnished cottages having ones
own separate bathrooms set amongst trees and foliage where one can bathe
in leisure surrounded by nature.
The resort caters to all needs and has A/c, non A/c rooms fully furnished
with Telephone, Colour TV, self contained western toilets having hot and
cold water facilities and all other normal room services.
There is also a children playground. For nature lovers there is an emu
farm where one can learn a lot about emu breeding. The Resort has a small
variety of birds such as geese, ducks and other different species. |

CRAZY CRAB RESTAURANT
The resort also boasts of a well stocked bar for the thirsty tippler. The
restaurant is located amongst chickoo trees and is surrounded by all sides
with it, giving it a cool and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant besides
having chinese, mughlai, tandoori, seafood dishes, also boasts of certain
exquisite items like turkey & emus.
CATCH UP ..The banquet hall in the open for marriages, parties and
gatherings amongst lush green lawns and an open sky with mystical stars
above you having a capacity of approx 200 guest with ample car parking
space. |
