Dirghayu Farms Agri Resort
is situated on Bhatsa dam
project road, 3 kms from Mumbai-Nasik highway
and 82 kms from Mumbai-Nasik ,at
Birwadi,Tal Shahpur,Dist Thane.
The property is approximately 27 acres with road
frontage of about 1 kms. Dirghayu Farms Agri
resort is approved by Maharashtra State Agri & Rural Tourism
Co-op. Federation Ltd. (MART) and Agri Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC).
The Farm has achieved AGRI-TOURISM APPRECIATION
AWARD 2009.
 The
major plantation is alphonso mangoes and other varieties
such as keshar, malgoba, totapuri etc mixed with other
major plantation of sonchapha and multiple plantation of different
varieties such as coconut, tamarind, amla, custard, lemon,j am, guava,
almond, cashew, teak ,Rudraksh etc..
Vermi culture/compost project, plants nursery, fish breeding (small scale)
are some of the projects. The farm has its own tractor, cows, hens. They
have our own Duttaguru Mandir with garden and many species of
floriculture. Most of the plants/trees are labelled showing their
scientific and local names. They also go for mixed vegetable farming
around the year.

The Farm Resort provides different indoor and outdoor games
for entertainment. A swimming pool is also provided with essential safety
measures. Guided Agriculture tour, tractor ride, bullock cart ride, horse
ride is provided to tourists. They have kept bicycles for tourists as
additional excursion tour. Our resort premises are strictly plastic free
and tedious measures are taken to maintain eco tourism concepts.

Our destination is surrounded by nature and it is a total relaxation spot
for the tourists plus source of support to agriculture income. The farm
has four independent cottages of 550 sq.ft.each,with hall/bedroom/sitout/wc/bath
and wardrobe. Each cottage is equipped with gas geysers for hot water and
air coolers for comfort. One dining hall for 40 pxn, front office,
kitchen,common toilet for one day packages and ample parking facility.
Mosquito nets and safety grill along with intercom facility is provided in
all the cottages. The Agri Farm provides freshly prepared homely food
consisting of some local delicacies,both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
The Agri Farm has installed a separate UV water filter for drinking water.
They also have a Shoppe which caters to all the domestic needs of the
tourists at very reasonable rates. The Agri Farm Resort has their own
nursery which is full of indoor and outdoor plants plus different
varieties in flora, ornamental and ayurvedic plants.
