AAR Mangoes & Agro Tourism
- is a developed agro tourism project at Nate in
Rajapur, Ratnagiri in Maharashtra district of India. Enjoy the
beautiful glimpses and pleasant environment of rural India with a 2 nights
3 Days package provided by the Agro Tourism. The package includes
participation in all activities that are done on the farm.

Organic Farming in Agriculture and Afro Tourism
which is very popular amongst the tourist. Mr. Ranade is the key person
behind this entire project . He has 30 years of extensive experience in
horticulture. |

Almost 28 years ago he started with a dream of a
flourishing mango orchid (Aamarai) on
a dry hill. He adopted the traditional inorganic route in the beginning.
For the first 8-10 years he made good progress
Very soon Mr. Ranade sensed the need
to convert from inorganic farming to organic farming. But this had to be
achieved without affecting the yield. He started studying Organic farming.
Very soon he realized that the claims made by modern agriculturists &
scientists regarding ‘live’ soil, a soil enriched with useful bacteria,
have already been identified by our very own sages
(Rishi-Muni), almost more than 5000 years ago, as we can
find the reference of “Jantunam Jeevanam Krishihi”
in Rugweda. All plants were switched from inorganic to organic
farming gradually without affecting the yield. To support the need of
organic farming he started his own Go-Shala (Cow
Shed).
Today AAR Mangoes and Agro Tourism are
pioneers in organic cultivations and are also exporting their organic
mangoes to US, UK and Japan since 2007. |

Aamrai (mango orchard) is just 0.5km away (walking distance) from the sea
shore. In fact it is a small hill, with a breath-taking view of the
Arabian Sea and even windmills of Devgadh, which are a small distance
