The slopes of Mussoorie get
a metaphorical expression at Sterling by a series of 300 steps that
connect all parts of the resort, besides covering the entire hill. Rooms
are available across two floors – the ground and first, each promising a
breathtaking view, so you can take your pick. Most rooms at the resort
overlook the Doon Valley. Every room has a sitout or a balcony where you
can settle down with a hot cup of your favourite brew and enjoy the
splendid view.
The resort is located 2.5 kms from the city, thus offering you the best of

Accommodation : Sterling offers you a
choice from studio, regular and twin bedroom apartments, all of which are
located in different parts of the resort and offer a splendid view of the
Doon Valley and of the Himalayan range. . 35 studio apartments, 20 regular
apartments and 7 twin bedroom apartments – take your pick.
Business Amenities : A 1600 sq. ft.
conference hall is available for your business meets, conferences and
workshops and can seat up to 110 people in theatre style. An LCD
Projector, laptop, lapel mike (collar mike) and sound system can be made
available on a rental basis – all you need to do is intimate us in
advance. A 5’ x 5’ projection screen and an OHP are available for your
presentation needs.
Club : A Club offers you hours of
unwinding pleasure, with a pool table for snooker and billiards, board
games like carom and chess and badminton
Cuisine : Sterling Mussoorie has a
Specialty Woodstock Restaurant that is at your service between 7 am and 11
pm and offers a variety of cuisines – Indian, Chinese, Continental and
South Indian. For breakfast, you can choose from Continental, American or
Indian. If you wish to enjoy your meal from the comfort of your room, room
service is available from 7 am till 10.45 pm. And if you happen to be a
strict vegan, we have a wide choice of vegan food that can be specially
prepared for you – all you need to do is give us a 3-4 hours notice.
Likewise, Jain food can also be organized at 1-2 hours notice.
Activities : Besides nature walks,
evening strolls and adventure sports, you can also enjoy your hours of
leisure at the Sterling Resort with a wide range of activities that we
have for the whole family. Children can have a whale of a time at the play
area that has swings, a see-saw and a slide. A common area is open for
adults, both couples and families, and has indoor games like table tennis,
carom and chess, besides offering a collection of books at our in-house
library.
The excitement levels rise over the weekends as guests look forward to the
barbecue nights. Bonfires, music and party games are also on the cards.
Other facilities include internet connection, in-house shopping facility
at a basic grocery/tuck shop and the space to conduct a party or a
marriage ceremony with the
capacity to accommodate up to 150 guests. More elaborate shopping can be
done at the bazaar on Mall Road that is 2.5 kms away. A discotheque can be
