Malshej
Ghat located in Pune is a special attraction for trekkers, hikers, adventurers,
and nature lovers. Malshej Ghat stands 700m high in the mountains. The
characteristic beauty of the wooded countryside and its exquisite bird and
animal life, the rugged mountains holding historic forts, high-plateau forest

to climb. Those interested in religious journey can travel to Ozar and Lenyadri,
two Ganesh temples honoured by all devotees. There is a centuries old shrine of
Shiva - Bhimashankar, which is set at the origin of the river Bhima. All these
temples are at a close distance.
