Accommodation
All rooms are newly designed and furnished. The Hotel offers decent rooms
and restaurant which offers a choice of delectable cuisine.
The newly constructed top floor lobby of the hotel offers space to the
guests to relax and unwind with a spectacular view of the majestic
Himalayas and a total view of the charming city of Gangtok and picturesque
surroundings.
Guests of this hotel have the assurance of friendly and highly
professional staff. This is combined with the advantage of all modern

Food – North East Indian food are
generally spicy though in Sikkim food are not so hot. Momos and Thukpas
are worth tasting. |

Gangtok is well linked to the rest of the country. Access
distance from various locations of the city are given below -
City Center – M G Road is the heart of Gangtok and Juniper tree hotel are
all situated within 1 kilometer radius of the center of the city.
Airport – Gangtok has regular chopper service from Burtuk helipad to
Bagdogra Airport (IXB). The Helipad is at a distance of 10 Kilometers from
the hotel. It is well connected with Taxi / Cab and private vehicles.
Nearest major Airport is Bagdogra Airport (IXB) nearly 135 kilometers from
Gangtok.
Railway Station – There is no railway network in Sikkim. Nearest major
railway station is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) at a distance of
135 Kilometers from Gangtok. It is nearly 3 ½ hours drive from Gangtok and
there are regular vehicle and bus service from Gangtok.
Bus Terminal – Sikkim Nationalized Transport (SNT) has regular bus service
to Siliguri, Pelling, Rangpo, and other places of interest. The bus
terminus is only 1 ½ Kilometers from the hotel. Taxi / Cabs are available
from any of the Taxi stand.
City Taxi Stand – Every ½ a Kilometer from the hotel are Taxi stands. The
service is regular and the prices on shared basis are as low as Rs. 10.00.
Porters are available on call and they carry your entire luggage at
nominal rate. |
