The Wild Orchid
sits on Vijaynagar beach, 7 km from the jetty on the eastern side of the island.
The Wild Orchid nests between the aqua blue waters of the Andaman Sea and the green hills of Havelock. Built with the produce of the land, in authentic Andamanese style, our spacious cottages are just a few metres from the sea.
Each cottage is spaciously laid out and tastefully decorated with shells, bamboo and cane. The Wild Orchid offers double and twin sharing rooms. All rooms have bath attached, with hot and cold running water 24 hours a day. Each room has a private balcony overlooking the tropical jungle full of fluttering butterflies, radiant songbirds, and of course, wild orchids. If preferred air conditioned rooms are also available.

RETURN TRANSFERS - Port Blair Airport – Havelock – Port Blair Airport.
Using Government ferry service/car.
0700 hrs & 1400 hrs daily ferry departure from Port Blair to Havelock. Duration is 2 & 1/2 – 4 & 1/2 hours. Join-in Government ferry service.
INR 1800 per person with 2 persons or more sharing. Single traveler -INR 2700 per person.
(When using Govt. ferry, a 1-night stay in Port Blair on your return from Havelock is mandatory, as Havelock-Port Blair ferries do not connect with departing flights on the same day)
PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER / CAR
Direct same day airport departure and arrival service. Flexible daylight departures to Havelock. Duration 2 & 1/2 – 3 hours. Maximum 12 persons. Service not operated between May 1st to September 30th each year.
Full boat price: Rs.18,000/= one-way. Rs.36,000/= round-trip.
All ferry and boat transfers subject to weather conditions, sea conditions, sailing permits, Department of Shipping schedules.
